Food Safety Program
To assure safe, wholesome food in our community, the food protection program provides free food safety training and consultation to all our community members. Based on state regulations, the Health Department licenses and inspects all food service operations (FSO), retail food establishments (RFE), mobile food units, temporary food operations and vending machine locations with in our jurisdiction. In addition, food-borne illness investigations are conducted in conjunction with the nursing department and district epidemiologist.
